As soon as I find disposable income once again, I'll find myself a GPS and try my hand at this! I keep reading about spray paint - is this some sort of marker to let the searcher know that they're close?
Right now I'm letterboxing - the low-tech relative of geocaching. I've started a Tribe, if anyone is interested: letterbox.tribe.net

Fri, April 30, 2004 - 12:44 PMYou know, I think when I said "keep reading," I must've meant "seen once". Because now I can't find it anywhere.
Though, is it common to leave any markers near the cache? -

Re: Letterboxing
Fri, April 30, 2004 - 2:38 PMI've seen some, but not too many. One that I've heard of involved somebody making arrow on the ground out of sticks, but I also hear that it didn't last very long.
