Just Baught a Garmin etrex legend.
So yea uploadable maps,
Was wondering about peoples preferances for mapping software, right now I'm torn between OziExplorer or the MapSource / n-route from Garmin. anyone have a preferance or know of something else I should be looking at?
The scan your own map feature of Ozi has me intreged, but 8Mb is not alot of memory and I'm concerned about how much data space it would need.
Canadian cities and small places in Idaho / Montana being mapped would make me happy.

Re: seeking opinions on Mapping software
Mon, July 25, 2005 - 7:54 AMI use MapSource because it came with the unit. The issues I have with it are that; 1) I can’t search for intersections on the computer (only of my GPS V) and 2) the maps of anything outside of a metropolitan area are poor.
