    I keep being tempted to leave it, but there's one cool community there that hasn't even come close to being replicated here that keeps me going back. But I have noticed a distinct lack of geocachers there.
    
    If they ever fixed their damn servers, I'd probably come here less. It has a much more global spread than tribe does. Tribe seems to be centered on California and the bay area as best I can tell.

      That site looks kinda lame in comparrison to Tribe...but, I do agree that Tribes member in majority are from the Bay area...it just takes time for things likeTribe to spread...

      I'm located inside the Washington, DC beltway, and I'd have to agree that the center of mass for Tribe is somewhere west of Reno. There does seem to be a big contingent from Portland....

        It started in SF awhile back, hence the mass of the members being on the West Coast...there are however people from all over the US on Tribe...

          And (putting on my Tribe employee hat for a second) the best way to get more people from your area to join is to invite your friends to Tribe, and then they invite their friends, and so on and so on...

            I have tried social sites like this from Frienster to Orkut and all in the middle and this is the only one I really like. There are many tribers here in Texas and in Pittsburgh whre I was. You just have to look.
            
            I actually know some from MD, so you'll find them..
