Hey Steve,
Nice to meet you via tribe. I like to geocache as well (obviously) so it is cool to see new people get involved in the tribe. I'm along the northern coast of California, so we have lots of beach caches and redwood forest caches. It is nice! Good hiking and a treasure to find in the end.

Thanks for the link on the wildlife conservation. It sounds like a nifty geocoin. Maybe I'll cross paths with one someday. So where is your favorite geocaching areas? I ask that since I travel a lot for work and like to kill time by caching. Got some good urban cache tips from this tribe for the Santa Cruz mountains area.

Anyhow, welcome to tribe and to the geocache tribe! It is good to see a post go up on this tribe every now and again.

I'm new here to Tribe--this is a very cool community of folks! I first joined to chat with folks that play the Didgeridoo as I do but then I discovered the Geocaching Tribe and just had to say hello and join up! I have been Geocaching for many years now and probably like to hide caches more than I like finding them. I recently designed a new Geocoin to raise money for Wildlife Warriors Worldwide--the late Steve Irwin’s wildlife conservation organization. Take a look at the Crikey Fundraiser coin at: www.geocities.com/thesolorover/crikeycoin
I am also active in several Reptile conservation and research projects and I also host a reptile and amphibian identification website called "The Snakegame" that will help those of you caching in the southeast USA to ID snakes you may see in the field. Check out The Snakegame and my other projects at www.geocities.com/thesolorover/snakegame
Take care and I look forward to chatting with you all.
